2025 A BLESSED TIME FOR CHANGE
I’m coming in a little late, but I do want to wish you all a “Happy New Year”!
It’s 2025! I feel like this is a blessed time in our lives to look toward change, to do all that we have been desiring to accomplish, and all that we have been dreaming about! This mortal life is hard, but when we receive inspiration for a new direction, we can know that it is possible to take the courageous steps that will lead us to a life of joy and happiness.
A SIMPLE SECRET
I want to share with you a simple secret that will help you move in new directions. It will help you to see change and improvement. You will actually be able to enjoy an incredibly rewarding experience!
PURPOSE AND DIRECTION
I was excited that my efforts in 2024 turned my life around and I experienced an incredibly rewarding year. 2023 was hard for me. There were many things that seemed to make each day very stressful and difficult. With determination, I set forth to make 2024 a better year. I did not want to have another year where I felt beat up and broken. I turned to the Lord for help and gratefully, I learned some new spiritual concepts that helped strengthen me and gave me the purpose and direction that I needed for it to be a successful year.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR LIFE’S CHALLENGE
Lets look at life as you see it today, where are you now? What did 2024 bring that either blessed or discouraged you? To actually move forward and realize your new dreams for 2025 you need to understand where you are now. What makes you unhappy, feel unloved, beaten, unaccomplished, or basically down and out? Once you understand the challenges you are facing, it is easier to overcome it, and then set your sights on what you need to do to bring you to a place of enjoyment, beauty and love. So take a minute and think about it and write your thoughts about 2024, was it good? Did you improve in the life areas that you were weak in? Did you overcome any behaviors that were bringing you and your family down?
It’s probably been about 4 weeks since you have started on your 2025 journey to change. How are you doing so far? Are you making progress and moving forward?
I’m sure you have noticed by now that this mortal life is pretty unstable, especially when it comes to taking steps and making the transformations that you hoped for. It becomes undeniably easy to get discouraged with our ability to stick with our new dreams, goals and resolutions.
But don’t get too discouraged, I really do have a simple secret that will help you move in the new direction or directions that you have been dreaming about.
THE SIMPLE SECRET
When we adopt Gods will and His way as our own that gives us a courageous and willing heart, a mindset that is so powerful, we can give up and lose our old self as we submit our heart and our whole soul to live the life that brings joy and happiness.
When you choose to let God be the most powerful influence in your life rather than seeking your own pursuits, you can make progress in your goals and increase your capacity to overcome the world and find inspiring guidance. If you leave your life journey to your own pursuits and desires, you won’t have the Lord’s inspiring guidance. You will then make excuses for yourself and continue stumbling along your path to nowhere.
WHAT YOU THINK COMPARED TO WHAT GOD KNOWS
During our journey here in mortality, we often wrestle with what we think we know, what we think is best, and what we assume works best for us, as opposed to comprehending what Heavenly Father actually knows, what is best, and what absolutely works for His children within His plan. This wrestle with the unknown can make our life journey very complicated, we actually create significant stumbling blocks for ourselves, instead of walking with God through all seasons, challenges and struggles.
The secret is to believe in Him, and His plan for you, and then follow that plan with all your heart, might mind and soul.
FOR WITH GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
One of the most glorious moments of mortality occurs when a child of God discovers the joy that comes when they do what the Lord inspires them to do. As His beloved child, choose to let Him be the most powerful influence in your life, and experience the impossible!
If you surrender your will, dreams and desires to do what is pleasing in the sight of the Lord, you will find new strength, courage, possibilities and blessings that will move you in new and more glorious directions. Create a better 2025 than you could ever dream of on your own.
Your new mindset of choosing God’s will over your will gives you the power to do all that you are inspired to do to create your life of joy.
