In the winter season of life, It seems like there are many times that hardship comes knocking at our door. We ask why...why me?

Truth is, no one is exempt! Everyone must experience the cold hard awakenings that we are not in control of our life experiences...but we can endure them with courage and strength and experience the refining of our souls, with valor.

These experiences stretch our souls and build our character and increase our compassion for others. The way we react to adversity can be a major factor in how happy and successful we will be in our life experience.

Our hardest times can be times of greatest growth, which in turn can lead toward times of greatest happiness.

The Lord, in His greatest wisdom does not shield anyone from hardship, grief or sadness.

I’m remembering a previous BLOG that I wrote several years ago about my cancer experience and the emotional trauma of going through the chemotherapy ... and the effects it had on me. It was a time that stretched my understanding and strengthened my relationship with my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I knew they were with me and that They were the only ones that understood my suffering.

On the days when I was concerned for my life, because it seemed like it was slowly being sucked out with each treatment, I was spiritually taught, in my quiet moments, by my Savior about ‘soaring’ - my term for the ability I had to rise above the pain and weakness.

Because Jesus Christ suffered greatly, He understood my suffering, and was there to comfort, lift and strengthen. His Spirit will lift us higher above the storm and the turmoil that we are experiencing. I learned that we can rise above all that threatens to destroy us! Our faith in our Savior allows Him to lift us above the storms to comfort us, ease the pain, and even, when it’s time...heal us. It’s March, and though we are so grateful for the snow...piles and piles of snow... it will bring needed water in the Spring, we are still experiencing the dark, dead days where our gardens are in a stage of transformation. What was growing and alive months ago, is now changing the character of the soil to be more nourishing and strengthening to the plants that will come with the warm, sunny days. Life will emerge and bring the joy and triumph of enduring well the adversity of the harsh winter season. There is purpose in all things!

I love the promise that comes with hope, that everything will work out for us, if we trust in the One who knows all things and has been walking by our side, or is lifting us up, or is making our burdens light. My heart swells with the love that this shows me....someone is there! Hold on through your Winter Season, there is purpose in it. There are good things to come, if we show that we have the faith it takes to endure and to look for promise.

I, for one, am rooting for each one of you. I know that there is so much more that the Lord wants to give us. He gives us challenges so that we can become as He is...that’s our purpose here. I have been comfortable in my quest to write worthwhile, uplifting, and enlightening BLOGS. I’ve been doing it for five years now and I have loved it. ❤ Funny thing is that the Lord seems to think that I need to grow, to transform in ways that have been fearful for me. I would have run from the ‘call’ but, it has been my desire for a lifetime to please my Father and to do all He asks, as well as to become as He is. A couple weeks ago He whispered, “You can’t become as I am, if you don’t overcome the limitations that are holding you back!” I knew without a doubt that what He said was truth.

Soooooo, I am choosing to take on the ‘call’ and open myself to becoming a Creative Life Design Consultant, for women of faith. So many women are struggling with their appointed roles as mother, provider, wife, homemaker, etc. They are feeling broken, lonely and inadequate. I feel like I have been on the training path for 20 years or more, learning to apply creative solutions to life and discovering that, God’s ‘Divine Creation Process’, is a life process that helps us create the lives that we all desire but can’t find.

My desire is to help every woman who is struggling to bring desired transformation into her world, elevate her life circumstance, and fulfill her divine potential as a Daughter of God! It‘s time to fight for the life that God created us to have in this lifetime.

I hope that you and your daughters will join me on this enlightening journey of Overcoming to Become... to change who we have become on the inside so that we can open up and be more glorious on the outside.

I will e-mail you some supplemental worksheets each week to help you learn the concepts. Each week I will teach you a new concept and we’ll apply it to your life situation in our consultation and then you can practice it all week long.
